When people think of ending a marriage, they often think of the divorce process. But for couples in Ohio, dissolution of a marriage can be a more effective solution. Dissolution can be an effective tool for couples who can agree on the terms of the divorce.
Generally, most couples do not get married thinking that one day their marriage will fall apart. But sometimes, a couple chooses to end their marriage. But are there warning signs that signal couples that the end is near?
For some couples, the end of a marriage comes quickly and without much warning. When this happens, emotions are high and everyone involved is trying to figure out how to resolve the problem. This is especially difficult on children who can be lost in the confusion.
For other couples, the end of a marriage does not come as a surprise. Over the course of time, the couple simply drifts apart. They may find themselves arguing more and not being as intimate as before. Despite attempts to save the marriage, the couple realizes that it is time to separate.
With divorce and dissolution, couples have a lot to consider. Couples who have children will have to agree on a custody and child support plan. Property division is another issue that arises in when dissolving a marriage: how will assets be distributed?
Dissolving a marriage can be a complicated process, especially since it is also an emotional process. Often couples can consider speaking with someone who understands the dissolution process. That alone can help create a more effective solution for everyone involved.
